Well ladies, if you’re ever planning on robbing a bank in the near future it’s probably a good idea to restrain yourself from celebrating your criminal activity on YouTube. Otherwise you could end up like Hannah Sabata, also known as the “chick bank robber.”
The Huffington Post reports that the 19-year-old immediately took to YouTube after she stole a car and held up a bank in Nebraska.
In her YouTube video, Sabata uses captions and a large notepad to tell viewers about how she managed to steal a “shiny new” Pontiac Grand Am. She also tells viewers that she stole drugs and then robbed a bank “with a gun, a pillow case, and a note.”
“I just stole a car and robbed a bank. Now I’m rich, I can pay off my college financial aid and tomorrow I’m going for a shopping spree. Bite me. I love GREENDAY!” reads the description to the video which Sabata stupidly posted on her personal YouTube account.
According to authorities, Sabata entered the Cornerstone Bank and handed bank tellers a slip of paper that read “You are being robbed! NO ALARMS OR LOCKS OR PHONES or INK BAGS! I have a loaded gun. You have two minutes.”
The “chick bank robber” claims that she managed to steal $6,256 (that’s around €4,800 to us) and that she decided to carry out the robbery because she is a “victim of the government.”
“The whole system is just a game. The government stole my baby… and they took him away before I could even take him home… and they charged me with child neglect… I may not be a mother anymore but I can still find purpose,” said Sabata.
Sabata has since been arrested and the local Sheriff’s Department has said that it managed to recover all of the money that was stolen, bar $30.
Check out Sabata’s bank-robbing video below although be warned – it features drugs so it may not be the best thing to watch if you’re at work…
