Here’s a helpful life tip: if you ever find yourself getting interviewed by the BBC, it’s probably a good idea to make sure that your sex toy is hidden, otherwise you’ll end up severely embarrassed like this guy.

The above picture surfaced on photo-sharing website Imgur.com and it has since gone viral. The picture features a man who was being interviewed about the Boston Marathon bombings by the BBC. The man was on worldwide television, giving his opinion about the tragedy, completely unaware of the fact that a bright pink d**do was sitting on top of the fridge in the background.

We have two questions: why on earth was the sex toy on a fridge in the first place? And, more importantly, why didn’t he do a quick sweep of his surroundings to make sure everything was okay before he went on television?

“Aw, it’s pink” said one commentor.

“The BBC is all about penetrating journalism,” quipped another.

We feel sort of sorry for this guy. You just know he’s going to be forever known as the guy who appeared on the BBC with a sex toy. Awkward.
