It’s official… Overplaying Christmas music is bad for your mental health

Tell this to the co-worker who is already playing Christmas radio...

All I want for Christmas isss… NO.

Whether you’re a fan of Christmas or not, it’s safe to say that having Jingle Bell Rock on repeat is annoying AF, especially when it’s only the beginning of November.

And whether it’s on the radio in work or in the shops in town, hearing the same Xmas tune over and over again is a lot for your ears to handle.

However, it has now been proven that overplaying Christmas music is bad for your mental health… and hallelujah to that.

A clinical psychologist has confirmed that the jolly music will indeed drive you around the bend, especially if you work in retail.

Linda Blair told Sky News: “People working in the shops at Christmas have to [tune out] Christmas music, because if they don’t, it really does stop you from being able to focus on anything else.

“You’re simply spending all of your energy trying not to hear what you’re hearing.”

So, next time your co-worker attempts to put on Christmas radio stations in the office, revert them back to this article.
