One college has introduced a ‘Crying Closet’ for stressed out students

Where was this when we were in college?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock this week, you’ve probably seen the video circulating online of a UCD student who heartbreakingly deleted his entire thesis by accident.

The screams will haunt us for days, however, we can all totally relate to that level of panic when it comes to exam pressure.

Well, one college is trying to make things a little easier for students after they introduced a ‘Cry Closet’ for those who just need to take a minute.

“This space is meant to provide a place for students studying for finals to take a short 10-minute break,” reads the sign on the door of the safe space in the University of Utah.

The rules of the closet are simple; knock before entering, only one person at a time and you can only stay in there for 10 minutes.

Pictures of the ‘Cry Closet’ have been shared online and people are praising the artist behind the genius creation, Nemo Miller, for installing the privacy booth in the university’s library.

“I’m the Cry Closet creator,” Miller said on Twitter. “I’m so stoked that the response has been so incredible!”

Now, why couldn’t there have been one of these in our college library when we were in final year?
