If you ever needed an excuse to get more sleep, this might be it.
A recent study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine has proven that women who get more sleep are more likely to have a happy sex life.
Researchers approached college-going women for the study, asking participants to fill out questionnaires on their sleep and sex habits.
They found that for every extra hour of sleep a woman enjoyed, there were 14 per cent more inclined to have sex. Further, women who slept more reported more vaginal lubrication during sex.
Though further studies are needed to support their claims, researchers suggested that a lack of sleep might disrupt hormone levels.
