There’s nothing worse than hurting yourself mid-beauty session.
Beauty regimes can be hard enough to carry out without making a mistake and having to do it over.
It takes time, effort, concentration, and precision to get things on the beauty scale right and even so you can still get things SO wrong.
One poor woman has seriously felt the dangers of beauty treatments going wrong as she curled her eyelashes recently.
Imgur user Aub3912 shared a picture detailing the disadvantages to doing DIY beauty treatments and we really feel for her… and her eyelashes.
Aub3912 was minding her own business, curling her eyelashes when the worst thing in the world happened to her – she sneezed.
The curler that was clamped down on her lash was moved from her eye abruptly, with the result happening that her eyelash got almost entirely ripped out. OUCH.
The affected area looks very red and rash like and we don’t doubt it was incredibly sore.
On Reddit, the eyelash enthusiast told of how she was afraid she’d visually impaired herself or caused serious damage from the sneeze.
“I really thought I ripped my eyelid in half.”
It looks like she’ll just have to wait for the lashes to grow back, but going from this photo she seems to be coping well.
