When Netflix announced they would be filming House of Cards, no on realised the massive game changer this would be. The directors were almost allowed complete autonomy to work on the project, the entire series was filmed back to back and, something that audiences were particularly delighted with, every episode was immediately released on the website.
Now, Netflix have done it again with new series Orange is the New Black, which will be released in July of this year.
Based on the best-selling memoir by Piper Kerman, Orange is the New Black revolves around Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) who spent a year in a women's prison on money-laundering and drug trafficking charges following a 10 year involvement with a drug dealer.

Piper must give up her life with her fiancee Larry, played by Jason Biggs, and enter a life in prison which she is entirely unprepared for.
All thirteen one hour episodes of the series will be available after launch.
