"When my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer, Mom was always there to look after everyone and kept everyone together. She held me while I cried myself to sleep every night with grief and helped me overcome the sadness even when she was so upset herself.
"When I was diagnosed with a rare form of arthritis at 16, my mother was the one who took me to every physio and hospital appointment, and helped me move and get on with life.
"She encouraged me to finish my Leaving Cert, go to college and get a job. She always supports me in every decision I make.
"We are best friends and I think my mom is the most fantastic mother out there. She definitely deserves the award".
We hope Olive enjoys her €100 voucher, and if you have someone in mind for our Woman Of The Week, please get in touch.
