Express reports that Naktis Ireland recorded the weird lights floating over Cork city and since the clip went online, a host of conspiracy theories have been posted in response.
Let’s just say that a LOT of YouTube commentors have questioned the legitimacy of these flying saucers. So far the favourite explanations are: digital flares, balloons, helicopters and Chinese lanterns.
“The only pc software modification I did was to remove the sound as some comments where [sic] irrelevant and to cut off the end as it was filming the empty sky,” said the person who posted the clip on YouTube.
Despite the fact that most people who have commented are super-sceptical about the video, it’s already started to go viral.
