Pamela Anderson’s latest magazine shoot might be ticking all the right boxes but her recent television ad hasn’t gone down so well.
The former Baywatch star’s commercial for Dreamscape Networks has been banned for being degrading to women.
In it one of her male colleagues fantasizes about the model-turned-actress and her female assistant in bikinis.
While Dreamscape claim they intended the video to portray Anderson as being “attractive, dynamic and confident” the Advertising Standards Authority has ruled that it cannot be broadcast in its current form because it portrays women as sexual objects.
They said: “Because of this, we considered the ad was likely to cause serious offence to some viewers on the basis that it was sexist and degrading to women.”
