Paramedics From Dublin Fire Brigade Deliver Baby on M50

Talk about a memorable start to the day...

Rebecca McKnight

Paramedics from Dublin Fire Brigade had to make a fast lane delivery this morning.

The emergency services were called out to Junction 4 southbound on the M50 at approximately 3.30am when a woman went into labour.

They assisted in the delivery of a baby girl.

Both mother and child, who were subsequently taken to a hospital in Dublin, are said to be doing well.
