Uh-oh, it looks as though the Germany’s Next Top Model house has some unwanted guests (and no, we’re not talking about the models!). According to reports from the German media, the house is currently dealing with a very unglamorous infestation of head lice. Yep, head lice.
The Local is reporting that Anna Maria, one of the models who has been tipped to win the series, was left scratching her head this week when some unwanted visitors took up residence in her hair. Gross.
“No idea where they came from. I tried on a hat while shopping,” said the 16-year-old.

Anna Maria doesn't know how she caught the bugs
The headlice made their appearance just as the models were about to strut their stuff in a special “sexy edition” of the show, which is hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum.
The show’s producers have said that Anna Maria may have picked up the bugs while she was attending New York Fashion Week. We imagine that the German Top Model house currently stinks to high heavens with the scent of head lice removal shampoo. And who said modelling wasn’t glamorous? Pah!

Heidi Klum has yet to make a comment about the head lice
Anyway, the girls have been giving Anna Maria a wide berth since they noticed her scratching her noggin every five minutes.
Oh well Anna Maria, you know what they say: the little buggers only live in super-clean hair apparently...
