Irish legend Paul O’Connell was certainly looking on the bright side of life this week as he headed in to have surgery on a hamstring injury that he sustained during Ireland’s Rugby World Cup with France last Sunday.
The heroic captain took to Instagram to reveal to fans that there was one plus side to the operation for him and after such a rollercoaster of a week, it gave a lot of people a good giggle to say the least.
Here's hoping he's on the mend soon.
