People are losing their heads over the rumoured Glastonbury headliner

Ed Sheeran returned to social media this week after a year-long break and rumours suggest he’s about to release his third album.

Not only that, it’s now being suggested that Ed will headline Glastonbury 2017.  The festival takes place from the 21st-25th June and has already confirmed Foo Fighters as a headliner.

If reports are to be believed, Ed will top the bill on the Saturday night with Radiohead on the Friday and Foo Fighters on the Sunday.

A source told The Sun:

“It’s going to be a huge moment for the festival having him up there marking his comeback in front of a giant crowd.

“Ed’s always said headlining Glastonbury has been a big ambition of his.

“Topping his three sold-out Wembley Stadium shows last year will be tough, but this is as big as it gets”.
