This person wants to pop pimples… and they’re offering to pay too

Ah, lads.

pimple popping

Have you ever wanted something so bad you were willing to pay money for it?

We don’t just mean a good or a service – you’re supposed to pay for those anyway – we mean something that you usually wouldn’t flash the cash for.

Like express delivery or a last minute flight to some exotic location or some company to fill those harsh, lonely winter nights?

No? Us neither.

As it turns out, paying for any of the above wouldn’t actually be so strange compared to what this person is willing to spend money on.

A few days back, an ad appeared on Craigslist entitled ‘Let me pop your pimples.’

Understandably we, as well as everybody else, were engaged from the get-go.

The ad reads:

“I am one of the popaholics obsessed with watching videos of blackheads/pimples/sebaceous filaments being picked at or popped.

“I thought I’d give myself a holiday present this year and pop some pimples of my own.

“Only I don’t seem to have any. This is where you come in. If you have pimples/acne/blackheads and would allow me to pop them I would be extremely grateful.”

Right.

The ad goes on to detail how the pimple popping would occur (via Q tips), and that some weed would also be provided if necessary.

Oh, and the person being popped is also permitted to bring a friend along to make the situation more “comfortable.”

How thoughtful.

But the person who posted this ad – the self-confessed popaholic – was actually so desperate to pop some pimples that they were offering money to the person whose spots they were going to be popping.

A whole $45 (or €37) at that.

Not a bad deal, really.

It wasn’t long before this ad showed up on Reddit and people started wondering what kind of person needed to pop pimples that badly.

Others, however, were actually intrigued.

“I have clear skin but that’s one hell of a deal,” wrote one user.

“Tempting,” said another.

We’re not exactly sure whether we’d be up for answering this kind of ad, but it’s probably safe to say that somebody somewhere took this person up on their offer.
