Say “please!” This French café is encouraging politeness among its coffee-loving customers. The café’s menu displays its coffee prices with varying prices depending on how polite you are when you’re ordering. Customers who order their drink with a “bonjour” ( hello) and “s’il vous plait” (thank you) pay only €1.40 while those who order straight will have to fork over €7.

According to Foodbeast, the French café is “La Petite Syrah” in Nice, France. Fabrice Pepino, the manager of the café told The Local; “People are more relaxed now, and they’re smiling more. That’s the most important thing,” said Pepino.
