A letter originally written nearly a 100-years ago has been discovered in the chimney of a Welsh boarding school.
The letter, dated 1922, was written from a Haly H and was found hidden away in a chimney in Monmouth Girl’s School, Wales.
The school’s caretaker uncovered the letter when he was asked to clear out the brickwork in one of the bedrooms.
So what did Haly ask Santa for?
The girl had written to Father Christmas for a book ‘Tell England’ and a ‘fancy dress with shoes’.
The letter, and a copy of her desired book, will now be on show in her original boarding house.
