A nine year old boy has shown Australian police his appreciation for their hard work and commitment this week, when he penned a sweet thank you note to his new heroes.
The boy, only known as Matthew, wrote to police in New South Wales, to thank them for their bravery during the Sydney café siege and for “always protecting us from the bad people.”
The letter, which was posted on then NSW Facebook page, was inspired by Matthew watching the events unfold on TV:
We’re sure this letter meant a lot to the brave police officers after the rough week they had.
