Ah now, here.
We all have our own particular pet hates when it comes to travel etiquette - whether it's a pack of cheese and onion crisps or that person who takes up just a little too much elbow room.
However, this takes the biscuit.
Boston Globe columnist Dante Ramos was flying from Houston to Boston with his partner Ryan, when they encountered a rather hairy situation - namely a very long ponytail right in the way of Ryan's screen.
Speaking to
The Metro, Dante explained:
"Up to that point, the person in 22B hadn’t attracted my attention at all.
"Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I’ll assume she didn’t realise that her, er, readjustment would affect anyone else.
"At first I thought, “What *is* that?”
"For another few moments, we marveled at the ridiculousness of it. I took a photo, because that’s what you do these days when something absurd happens."
Dante tweeted the photo, which now has more than 5,000 likes and shares.
However, our favourite thing about this story is Dante's reaction to the post going viral:
‘I’m surprised that the tweet took off like it did. If only I could attract 4,200 retweets (and counting) for my columns about housing policy, transportation or higher education!"
Give the people what they want Dante, and it looks like the people want ponytails!
