In recent years it has become apparent just how dangerous online usage can be. Social media companies have boomed and more people are surfing the web now than ever.
The age of those who have access to the Internet on a daily basis has lowered considerably and with certain social networking accounts being linked to bullying and suicide, it is crucial that the dangers of the Internet are highlighted.
One teacher decided he would highlight the risks about posting online in one very clever way.
Using his Twitter account Yann, a French teacher at Gaston Bachelard college in Bar-sur-Aube, France, uploaded this image of himself holding an A4 sheet of paper with a message.
The note reads: “I want to illustrate to my students how fast my lovely face (don’t laugh) can be shared on the internet.
Please < like > and < share > this image to help me teach that I can spread any bullshit I want.”
Yann asked for folk on the Twittersphere to retweet the image.
In just a short few hours it has received 480 retweets and 65 favourites.
We think his method of teaching his class a lesson is fantastic, and without a doubt Yann has succeeded in his mission.
