PIC: One Very Generous Irish Child Wrote An Adorable Letter To This Charity

We all remember feeling like we'd won the lottery on our communion day. We clutched those little purses 'til our knuckles were white, planning all the things we were going to buy. Houses, holidays, nothing was out of reach. However, little Donal O' Donaovan had other plans for his communion money. He sent €100 to 'Declan' from just-one charity in Clonakilty, West Cork, along with an adorable note.   Declan, who was obviously moved by the young lad's generosity has now responded with an appeal to find out who Donal is. His letter reads: Dear Donal I'm not exactly sure who you are but hope that if I post your lovely letter here then maybe your Mam or Dad will see it and can pass it on to you for me. Thank you so, so much for your very generous donation of €100 which arrived safely in the post the other day and having already been put in the bank it's winging its way to us here in Kathmandu. I can promise you that, converting to more than 10,000 Nepali Rupees, it will most certainly be of great help to our work here. It was very kind of you to think of sharing some of your Communion money to help poor children here in Nepal - it's gestures like this that help make an often difficult job that little bit easier so, again, thank you so very much from everyone here at just-one!
