Luas operator Transdev are in deadlock with SIPTU, as the union seeks pay increases of up to 53 per cent.
According to RTÉ, SIPTU Divisional Organiser Owen Reidy has said that they are open to negotiation, however Transdev, which lost €700,000 last year has branded the claim as excessive.
Another two-day strike is planned for next week.
