Shocking images show the extensive damage done to Boeing 737-800 after it hit birds on its descent into Heathrow this week.
The passenger jet was left with a huge hole filled with feathers and blood in the nose of the craft when it was hit by a bird strike during its descent.
The EgyptAir flight was travelling from Cairo to the UK on Friday with 71 passengers onboard when the impact occurred, however the plane was able to land safely and was able to return to Cairo on Saturday, according to the Irish Mirror.
