PICS: The Ad Campaign That Wants Everyone To Stop Judging Women On Their Clothes Choice

In an ideal world, people would keep their judgemental opinions to themselves.

From labelling a woman slutty for her “too-short” skirt, or deciding on the appropriate neck-line for what another woman should wear  – it’s not surprising that there’s a problem with clothes shaming.

And when this prejudice then affects the treatment of women when being treated for sexual assault or harassment… well it can be pretty infuriating.

One Swiss oragnisation has decided to fight back against the gender inequality, starting a new ad campaign “Don’t Measure A Woman’s Worth By Her Clothes”.

With the help of students at the Miami Ad School in Germany, artist Theresa Wlokka created three campaign images – focussing on some the most sexually exploited parts of a woman’s body.

If there’s one message worth sharing this weekend, we think this is it.
