In fact, the Co. Clare home, spotted on theIrish Mirror, has been transformed and is now in the running for RTE's Home of The Year, with a fighting chance.
Built in 1914, the house was in poor condition when it was bought by Emma Hogan, a children's writer and illustrator, and Andrew Hersey, who runs a boutique garden centre.
