Over 150 people gathered on Sandymount Strand on Saturday morning for an important photoshoot to raise awareness about climate change.

Those gathered literally buried their heads in the sand, in order to highlight that the “government [need] to stop burying their heads in the sand and start tackling climate change now”.

The event was organised by People’s Climate Ireland and proved to be quite a success.
