PICTURE: Best. Dad. Ever – Man Teaches Daughter A Lesson About Short Shorts

We've all experienced a moment where our fathers have made us turned 50 shades of red with something ridiculous they have done or said.

However one Dad in Utah has definitely pipped the most embarrassing post.

Scott Mackintosh, a father of seven, was about to head of with the clan for a family day out when he heard his wife, Becky, ask their teenage daughter to put on longer shorts. Of course his daughter refused, which then inspired a swift outfit change for Dad. 

Scott decided to make, "a 'small' statement on how her short-shorts maybe aren’t as 'cute' as she thinks," and grabbing a pair of his own jeans custom made himself a quick pair of short shorts.

He cut the jeans just under the bum pockets and whipped out a T-shirt that read, 'Best. Dad. Ever.' 

The family set off on their trip to a restaurant where this image was captured, which has since gone viral. 

The picture was posted by Scott's daughter onto Tumblr along with this caption:"My mom told me to change my 'slutty' shorts before we went to dinner. I said no. So my dad cut his jeans to fit in. We went to dinner and then mini golf like this."
