Many who have watched that sacred Father Ted episode where Ted finally kicks Bishop Brennan up the arse have always dreamed of being able to do that. Well, we at least wanted that amazing canvas Dougal presented at the end.
However, this gentleman actually managed to follow through on it. While out and about in Maynooth, Noel Barrett ran into Jim Norton, the actor who played Bishop Brennan, and of course, had to take a photo.

Dear Joe,
My brother Ronan has been a massive fan of Fr. Ted since he was 4 years old… he made a Fr. Dougal doll when he was 5 and a half. He would not go to sleep at night until he drank a cup of really strong tea and heard the opening music to Fr. Ted! Weird I know!!!
But anyways! He was on a religious retreat with some fellow students from Maynooth the other week and while they were visiting some church they came across a movie being shot! And who did they meet but Jim Norton!!!! The guy who plays Bishop Brennan!!!!
