The Rose of Tralee is back for it's 54th year but tonight’s events were definitely a first.

A poor romantic soul got down on one knee and asked New Orleans Rose to marry him. She didn't react initially how he probably would've hoped, but she did say yes. Watch how the events unfolded here.
