We admit it. Even though we like to complain about our summers a lot in this country, the very, very last straw was hailstones in May.
Well, one radio station have had enough and have decided it is time to say a Mass and pray for this hellish weather to be gone. The Mass will be broadcast this Wednesday at 12pm from Ballyhaunis church on Midwest Radio.
This year has been particularly difficult for farmers, with many animals dying from rough weather conditions. The station said they were responding to requests from listeners to highlight the plight of the local farming community.
