What does a typical Irish man do when it’s sweltering outside and he's melting to pieces? Why make a make-shift pool of course!
Say hello to Cathal, a Laois man who’s come up with a fantastic solution to beating off the summer heat.
According to Maryrose who sent us in the photo, Cathal is “a typical Irish man that can throw his hand to about anything, so instead of complaining about the weather as he usually does, he decided to deal with the problem in an unusual way.”
This innovative swimming pool, now christened "swimming cube", is made from briquette palettes, black sheeting and cinder blocks. Classy!
We're very tempted to set up one these ourselves.
Thanks Maryrose for sending this great photo into us! If you’ve any great images or stories that you’d like to share with us, why not email [email protected]
