Buckingham Palace gave in to modern times and decided to announce the new Royal baby boy by email, but they were not willing to give up the old traditions completely.
The announcement of the new baby was made, according to tradition, by placing an easel in the courtyard of Buckingham Palace this evening with the news.
The same announcement took place for the birth of Prince William. Sources claim the Duke of Cambridge has said he "couldn't be happier" and that he will spending the night with Kate.
