Thousands of Dublin Pride participants took part in this year's parade, the 30th year that the festivities have taken place in the capital.
There was no way you'd miss the colour as thousands of rainbow-patterned balloons, floats, posters, costumes, wigs and flags made their way through the streets of Dublin.
Amongst all the festivites, there were serious messages too; the biggest call being for the Government to vote in favour of a referendum for equal marriage rights for gay people.
Thirty-six-year-old Andrew Hyland told the Irish Times he has taken part in the parade for the past 16 years.
"It’s the one day for our community to unite under one banner," he said, "and if there’s any issues which are affecting us as a community for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people it’s really important that we come together and represent each other for that."
