Ingenious way to convince people to get some exercise, or the lowest you’ve ever seen a landlord stoop to squeeze every last cent out of tenants?
This picture, uploaded to image-sharing site Imgur by user Davemel37, shows one US landlords latest initiative, charging for the use of a building elevator.
Starting from October of this year, the unnamed landlord apparently plans to charge residents in the building an additional $35 per month for use of the elevator.
Don’t worry though, he/she is not a complete miser – the stairs are still free. So very kind.
