Halloween is over for another year and so it's time to put the fancy dress costumes back into the cupboard (and start taking out the Christmas decorations). For the last few weeks we have been providing Halloween fancy dress and make up ideas that were simple and affordable. We asked readers to send in any inspiring ideas and these group of trick or treaters exceeded all expectations. A Lidl bit of genius from Sarah O' Reilly. This absolute hero worked an entire shift in one of the country's busiest restaurants, Fitzpatrick's in the Cooley peninsula, dressed as rapper 'Lil Wayne'. It seems the Peru Two were popular...   Down with that sort of thing: Jeff Griffin loved sister Elaine and best friend Sile's costume so much he sent it into us. As they say, the genius is in the detail… Hairdresser Mary Maguire of Hair City Newry channeled her inner Johnny Depp and went to work dressed as Edward Scissor hands. This chap didn't seem all that put off. What a Princess: One sister made her younger sibling extremely happy by making this fairytale light up chariot for Halloween. Quite the shell raiser! Little Jacob Keenan is the coolest teenage mutant ninja turtles we've seen this year. Thanks to Mum, Lynn for sharing this with us. i Mum, had her very own little hobbit and witch, Abbie. Viv Keyes son, Lee and daughter, Amy, all set for some trick or treating. Hocus Pocus: The amazing Sanderson sisters a.k.a. Sinead Mc Donald, Shelley Ryan and Stevi Russell. The greatest JACK-o-latern of them all, thanks to the artistic genius of Ciara Kenny. Mini Mario and Luigi a.k.a. Eoin and Rory Roberts were out and about in Galway. A very tall tale: Snow White and his 7 Dwarfs Corrina Stone sent us in this amazing Love/Hate inspired pumpkin... Elmo is not a rat! These two little lads Seamus, 5, & Cillian, 2, dressed Up! as Mr Fredrickson & Russell. Amazing. St. Pat's student teachers dress up as the Letterlanders. Her.ie reader Michelle from Indiana sent in these cute kids costumes 100% homemade. All crafted from a little creativity, a hot glue gun and a lot of love. Janice Byrne and her Mum made this Loki costume for her son Danann after he decided to dress as Thor's evil step brother… He looks delighted with himself. Little Red Riding Hood and her Grandmother was sent into by Siobhan Mallon on Twitter. Her reader Katie loved The Neverending Story so much she opted for this Falcor and Atreyu fancy dress get-up. The GAA were out in force at Coppers on Thursday night as Aidan O' Shea gave Marty Morrissey an exclusive interview. O' Shea a.k.a. Barry O’Mahony sent this into our brothers over at JOE. Yvonne Webb share our love for minions, and decided to dress her 5-month-old, Ollie, as one our favourite little yellow men. Too cute. Her.ie reader Louise Furlong sent in this Dr. Who inspired 'Wholloween' picture, Doctor 10 and 11, the Tardis and a terrifying weeping angel. Daniel Mooney's Optimus Prime costume stole the show. Handmade by Daniel himself, and he even managed to make it light up. Amazing.
