It’s been a weekend of barbeques, beach days and sunshine… but, in true Irish style, we knew it wouldn’t last long.
We’re in for another generally dry, warm and sunny day today with maximum temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees.
But a few showers will develop in some western areas and it will be cooler near some coasts with onshore breezes, Met Eireann reports.
Although temperatures will remain above 16 degrees for the week, rain is expected to make its return on Tuesday across the country.
We know you’ll make the most of the next couple of days… these photos from around the country yesterday show that the majority of us did get into the spirit of the sunshine!
Spark the barbie up again this evening...
