Billy Ray Cyrus tweeted a message early Monday morning, where just a few short hours previous his daughter was onstage performing at the MTV VMAs.
The tweet read: 'Thanking God for so many blessings tonight. Continue to pray for world peace. More love ...less hate.'

However the country legend cleared up the matter last night by confirming that he was in fact referring to the dire situation in Syria.
For You Information, Billy Ray clarifies that he was infact making a reference to the current devastating situation in Syria.
The singer explained that he was, "watching devastating news out of Syria" on Sunday night. "Chemical weapons used on innocent children is unacceptable!" he tweeted.
