A pilot episode for the proposed “How I Met Your Dad” has been given the ok by broadcasters.
The spin-off of the hugely successful “How I Met Your Mother” series from CBS, will be told from a female viewpoint, it has been reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
“How I Met Your Dad” will be written and produced by Carter Bays, Craig Thomas and "Up All Night" creator Emily Spivey.
The possible new series will be determined on how well the pilot does when it airs in Autumn 2014.
