We know that all work and no play, makes us very sad ladies.
Whether it’s been the week from hell in work, or you’ve been counting those calories with dedication reserved to counting at the euros in your piggy bank, the weekend is the time to let free and loosen up.
There can be a downside to this new freedom though. According to a survey by Forza Supplements, dieters were more likely to drink in excessive quantities once a week, seeing almost 1,000 calories added to their food intake.
While we’re not saying to quit the cocktails (everyone deserves to let their hair down!), the same study found that when dieters were given the true calories per cocktail or the equivalent exercise to burn off the effects, dieters made healthier options.
