Just about, according to this six-year study. Although our daily news would have you believe we’re swirling further into a pit of despair, thousands are heading for the departure gates every day and we’re all stoney-broke… somehow we still made it in to this top ten. Good for us!
Researchers at the Legatum Institute, a London-based nonpartisan think tank, six years ago set out to rank the happiest countries in the world.
The result is the Legatum Prosperity Index. Based on a study of 142 countries, which represents 96 per cent of global population the comprehensive study analyzed and ranked nations on categories including education, government and economics.
