The story focuses on Jess Thomas, a single mother who is simply trying to make ends meet. When it seems like her daughter, and maths whiz, Tanzie is going to miss out on a fantastic opportunity and her teenage stepson Nicky is struggling to escape the local bullies, Jess reaches breaking point.
That’s where Ed Nicholls, a businessman who is running from his problems but is set on helping out his new acquaintance and her family, comes in. Queue a journey that none of the characters will ever forget.
