There's no love like puppy love.
Let’s be honest, there are very few things in life more joyful than being welcomed home by the dog.
The bounding towards you, the tail-wagging, the look of unconditional love in their eyes. It doesn't get much better than that.
It's a sad fact of life that no other living being will ever show the same level of unbridled joy at seeing you.

It doesn't matter whether you've been globetrotting for six months, or if you've simply popped out to the shop for five minutes, your little canine pal will always be overjoyed to meet you at the door.
This week the North Yorkshire Police shared a doggie reunion so happy it will restore your faith in the world.
Posted to Facebook, with 118,000 views and counting, the clip shows two police dogs being reunited with their handler after a two-week separation, and it's fair to say they have missed their friend.
According to the Mail Online, PC Richardson and Dutch have been working together for five years.
Take a look at what's easily the happiest video on the internet this week:
LOOK AT THAT JUMP!
Comments on the video include:
“This is so lovely to watch. That dog really does love his handler. Thank you to all the wonderful dog handlers out there you do an incredible job.”
“[You] can never break that bond between man and dog. Awesome feeling.”
Here are some more of our favourite doggie reunion videos, just because.
