There are so many films on TV on a weekly basis, we thought we would draw your attention to some of the better movies that you can check out from the comfort of your own home. Here are seven of the best films that are on TV this week.
1. Ghostbusters, Monday, TV3, 5pm.
Look, who doesn't love a bit of Bill Murray on a Bank Holiday Monday? And the added bonus of Slimer is just too much.
2. Talk to Her, Tuesday, Film4, 12.40am.
It's Pedro Almodovar, it's complicated and emotional as hell but Talk to Her is one of those films you will regret not watching. Two men caring for a comatose woman? Just as complicated as it can be...
3. Ted, Wednesday, RTÉ1, 9.35pm.
A surprisingly funny comedy from Seth MacFarlane considering how bad a Million Ways turned out to be. Ted stars Mark Wahlberg who basically can't live without his talking, and hilarious, teddy bear.
4. Goldfinger, Thursday, ITV4, 9pm.
Classic James Bond with one of the most frightening threats on Bond's life, Goldfinger is just good, clean fun.
5. Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Friday, BBC2, 11.05pm.
The sequel to Cameron's Terminator somehow managed to outshine the original in every way. The special effects are second to none and then there's Arnie.
6. Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Saturday, Channel 4, 11.10pm.
Although he was well and truly typecast at this stage, Sweeney Todd is actually one of Depp's surprising films and just an enjoyable watch. The real star is Helena Bonham Carter.
7. Pretty Woman, Sunday, RTÉ1, 9.30pm.
Julia Roberts, stunning, charming and that laugh? Oh, that laugh. How could you not?
