Princess Eugenie will have to change her name when she marries… and it’s VERY long

Olivia Hayes

It’s a mouthful.

And something we would definitely not be arsed writing out on every signature we sign.

Princess Eugenie is only three months away from getting married, and we’re sure the wedding planning is in full swing.

However, it has now been reported that she will have to change her name once she marries Jack Brooksbank.

The couple will tie the knot on October 12, and from then on she will be known as HRH Princess Eugenie, Mrs Jack Brooksbank.

Mmm hmm, her official name will have his name in it… because, tradition.

According to Hello!, Jack could have chosen to be an Earl but decided to remain a commoner.

Eugenie is marrying Jack at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle… and all you need to do to attend the wedding is fill out an application form.

The royal family Instagram account posted the message today: “Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank would like to invite members of the public to join their wedding.”

The royal has also chosen who her bridesmaids will be.

According to The Examiner, Robbie Williams’ daughter Theodora is set to become a royal bridesmaid, along with the adorable Princess Charlotte.

Robbie, and his wife Ayda Field, are close friends of Princess Eugenie and her sister, while Maud Windsor, who is the daughter of Eugenie’s cousin Frederick, will also take part in the ceremony.
