After taking second place at the competition, Julia placed the scarecrow outside her home for passersby to enjoy, however it didn't last long and Sister Mary was last seen “with her feet poking out of the back of a car”.
Mary and her large cupcakes were recovered six-miles away in neighbouring town Calverton by superhero/ community support officer.
In case you were wondering, the nun scarecrow didn’t actually take home the winning prize, a scarecrow witch did, we’re guessing it was her ‘Don’t Drink and Fly’ sign that done the trick.
