It is the X Factor semi-final this weekend folks and here is a little insight on what to expect.
As the four acts battle it out to secure a coveted place in the final, each will perform two songs.
This week the contestant were made choose a track by Beyoncé and another by Sir Elton John.
We know, we’re so excited too.
The remaining four acts will compete to show their versatility in a bid to impress the judges.
The chosen hits from each category have been revealed, with some interesting selections.
Luke Friend will take on Queen B’s Best Thing I Never Had and give his own very unique spin to Elton’s, Something About The Way You Look Tonight. We must admit, we’re huge Luke fans here in the Her.ie Towers.
Scotland’s mini Michael Buble, Nicholas McDonald, will shine his Halo and hope that the judges Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me (him).
The Rough Copy boys, will be showing us their Survivor instincts, and taking on Elton John’s Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word.
Powerhouse, Sam Bailey, will no doubt blow us all away with her rendition of Beyoncé’s If I Were A Boy, followed by a version of Elton’s Candle In The Wind
