Meet Rae, the unicorn puppy – the good news we all need today.

The latest coronavirus update for Ireland includes the news that schools, colleges and childcare facilities are to close, mass gatherings cancelled and working from home encouraged.

It’s an uneasy time and with things changing so rapidly, people are understandably concerned, worried and frightened of the future.

Measures have been put in place to control the pandemic so for now, in a bid to distract from Covid-19 and all its problems, we have a feel-good story in the form of Rae, the unicorn puppy.

The adorable golden retriever found fame this week and honestly, it couldn’t have come at a better time.

I mean, just LOOK at her.

According to Bored Panda, Rae suffered an injury at birth resulting in the loss of her left ear and she became older, her right ear changed position to the middle of her head, resulting in her adorable nickname.

Can you cope? Because I certainly can’t.

Rae originally came to fame after a cute TikTok video was shared and now her owner has set up an Instagram account specifially for her, aptly entitled Rae the Unicorn Puppy.

Go forth and follow, it’s 100% guaranteed to brighten your day.
