A MAJOR A-List Star Just Gave This Galway Musical Society A Shoutout

Oh my God, oh my God you guys!  It's exciting times for Galway Musical Society, who are in the throes of rehearsals in preparation for their production of Legally Blonde The Musical in a couple of weeks time. But there's no nerves needed for this crew, as one major A-Lister has got their back. None other than Reese Witherspoon herself tweeted the crew a special good luck message this week.

(A moment for her fabulous use of emojis). Of course, Reese played the now iconic lead role Elle Woods in the Legally Blonde movies, so this is some high praise indeed. Alana Power, who will be playing one of Elle's Sorority Sisters in the production, got in touch with us and told us that this was the icing on the cake in what's a really special year for the production. She said: "We have had the same directors for the past 24 years and they were involved from the start. After this year they're taking a break so this year is a big deal for us. "Its huge that she tweeted us." If you want to catch the show, it opens in the Town Hall Theatre in Galway City, on April 12th. Who knows, maybe Reese herself will show up?
