Well, Ireland, we have to hand it to you – even when you’re facing the end of the world you’re still absolutely hilarious.
According to the Mayans, the world was supposed to end at 11:12am today. Clearly that didn’t happen, but despite that the trending ‘#Irishendoftheworld’ has been keeping us highly entertained in the office this morning.
We’ll admit we’re grateful that the Irish attitude to Doomsday is so relaxed and laid back, in other parts of the world, authorities are doing battle with end-of-world-cults and a bit of hysteria. Someone should tell them that there’s a lot to be said for another mass in times of crisis, eh?
