Research reveals one pretty major benefit to having a baby in your thirties

Okay, so there is a LOT of scaremongering doing the rounds regarding age and the biological clock.

While we are firm believers in doing what’s right for you, we figured it’s only fair to cover the positives of waiting to have a child, since the negatives are so frequently covered.

Well, according to new research, those who do wait until their thirties to get pregnant have minimal income losses compared to those who start their families in their twenties.

A report published in the journal PLOS ONE found that this held true for both women with and without college degrees.

The study found that women who had children before the age of 25 took the biggest salary hit and whereas women who had children after 31 earned significantly more over their entire careers.

Hardly rules to live by, but food for thought nonetheless.
